Boundary Lubrication Systems oil pumps include their billet steel gerotor installed into a new pump housing that’s ready to bolt onto your motor.

Boundary oil pumps are the best insurance against catastrophic failure of the OEM oil pump.

Besides its peace-of-mind value, the larger high-flow gerotor within the NB2 “Stage 2” pump produces 120% the flow of a stock Mazda NB2 pump.

Includes an O-ring for pump to block and a Mazda seal in the center of the pump to seal the crank nose.

The dramatically higher than stock power levels achievable with turbocharging subject the gerotor within the oil pump to vibration and harmonics that it was never intended to survive.

Boundary worked with metallurgists to find the best combination of steel grade and heat treatment to produce the best oil pump gerotor on the market.

Compare the billet steel used by Boundary and the compressed sintered (powdered) steel used in OEM oil pumps.

OEM gerotors are rated at only about 6000 PSI of yield strength.

The billet steel that Boundary uses is over 100,000 PSI in yield strength — around 18 times stronger than sintered steel.

For quality control, every billet steel gerotor can be traced back to its original material specification sheet.

The Boundary BP oil pump starts with a fully torn down and inspected new housing. This housing is then assembled with our billet oil pump gear and sealed.

Stage 1 pumps have billet gerotors installed.

Stage 2 pumps have additionally:

• Larger gerotors are fitted into the pump which increases midrange protection and ensures compatibility with VVT.

• The relief valve spring is shimmed, increasing maximum warm pressure from 60 PSI to 70 PSI.

Stage 3 pumps have additionally:

• Fitted with the upgraded BLS-BP-BBP high-flow anti-cavitation backing plate for those running over 7000 RPM consistently.

All assembled pumps undergo the following:

• Pump is completely taken apart, all parts under go ultrasonic cleaning, air blast, and hand inspection.

• Pump is hand deburred.

• Our industry-leading mirror finished gear set is fitted.

• Stainless Torx head screws replace the stock Phillips screws.

• All fasteners are torqued to spec.

• Loctite applied to fasteners to prevent loosening.

• Anaerobic sealant applied to critical areas to boost pump speed and reduce aeration.

• Assembly lubricant applied to all critical surfaces to get oil flowing fast on startup.

• Parts are blueprinted and issued with a specification sheet.
