Product Description

MiataRoadster’s Viton Quattro O-ring seals have an X-shaped cross-section, doubling the sealing power of a standard round cross-section O-ring.

Viton material is far more resistant to petroleum and heat than plain rubber factory O-rings.

In most cases, our Viton Quattro seals are less expensive than replacement factory ones.

A note on the importance of replacing the cam angle sensor seals on 1989-1997 Miatas: On 1994-1997 Miatas (where the cam angle sensor at the rear of the exhaust camshaft is located directly above the heater hose exiting the head) when the plain rubber factory seal ages and turns rock-hard over time, it inevitably cracks and leaks oil down onto the heater hose, causing it to soften and possibly burst, causing the engine to overheat and self-destruct, if not caught in time.
